Update checker
The built-in update checker contacts the public GitHub Releases API to compare your installed version against the latest release tag. This request includes only a standard User-Agent header identifying the application and version — no personal identifiers are sent.
Local files
RedTweak may write two files next to the executable:
redtweak.config.json— your update settings (repository owner/name and preferences). Stored locally only; never uploaded.redtweak.log— a local activity log. Stored locally only; never uploaded.
Downloaded update binaries are saved to the same folder as the executable and are not transmitted anywhere.
Third parties
No data is shared with third parties, advertisers, or analytics services.
Children
RedTweak is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Changes
This policy may be updated. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
